Last weekend some of my girlfriends (Brandi, Jenny M, Shawna, Jenny S, Ronnie & her friend Karen, Kelly, & Anna) and I went out for a long over due girls’ night. Tone graciously provided us with a comp to Edge, the new night club in the Peppermill (thank you!). We all met up for dinner at Silver Peak then headed on over to the club for a lot of gabbing, dancing, & toddies. Sorry I couldn’t put all the pictures on the blog, but 130 pics of us dancing seemed a little excessive ; ) Rob was a good Daddy (and Brother) that weekend and took Carter and Cali to Sacramento to help Malia and Scott landscape, so I had no worries while I was out with the girlies. ~sg

Last Tuesday we went to our friend, Jake’s, birthday party at Jump Man Jump. We had never been there before and will definitely go back. They had all these big blow up bounce house things, an obstacle course, and a huge slide. The kids had so much fun and the adults can go in too : ) Rob wants to go next time, he had to work. Happy Birthday Jake and thanks for inviting us! ~sg

On October 26th my good friend, Nathan, married the amazing and beautiful Jenna! It was a gorgeous venue. They got married in front of a huge window that overlooked a beautiful fall day in the country. The wedding was on a Sunday night so we took Monday off and enjoyed being in Seattle for an extra day. When we first flew in on Friday, we went to dinner with my Aunt Sue, Cousin David, and his fiance Amanda. We got to stay with Lauren and Tony (thank you!), which was great to be able to spend so much time with them. I also got to spend a ton of time with my best friend since elementary school, Ginger, who lives in Alaska and I haven’t seen since Rob and my wedding. On Saturday, we walked around Pike Place Market, took Carter to the Seattle Aquarium, had a nice dinner at Claim Jumper and then all went our separate ways for the night. Lauren and Tony had a birthday to go to, Ginger and I went shopping, and Rob and Carter went back to the house to play some video games. But we all ended up meeting up at Lauren and Tony’s when Rob locked himself out on the back deck with a sleeping Carter upstairs. Monday was a nice relaxing day. I did a little shopping with Ginger and her sisters, while Rob took Carter to the kiddie play area in the mall. We had a nice lunch and then Ginger, Rob and I got pedicures (no polish for Rob ; ). Then off to pick Lauren up from work since we had her car, a quick bite at Pagliacci’s Pizza (a family favorite), and off to the airport. It was a wonderful trip filled with lots of great old friends, family, and Seattle. ~sg

For Halloween this year Carter was a Cowboy. He was having so much fun, up until he got sick and spent the evening throwing up : ( Poor guy, and poor Grama Sheila, who drove down from Oregon to watch our little Cowboy for the night. No, Carter didn’t eat too much candy, he got the flu instead. At least he got to go trick-or-treating before he got sick. Rob and I spent the evening busting ghosts in Virginia City for the 6th annual Virginia City Pub Crawl with all our superhero friends : ) ~sg
