HaPpY ChAnUkAh!

Last weekend Rob, Cali and I got to go to Medford to celebrate a little bit of Chanukah with the Kaufman Household. Weather was good both ways! We had latkes, played dreidel, and opened a boatload of presents! We also bid farewell to our faithful Toyota Camry Station Wagon (it’s almost as old as I am). Mom is finally getting a new car (well deserved), and so we decided to pay proper tribute to our trusty Toyota. Many moons ago, when Dad brought the Toyota home for the first time, we all went out for ice cream in our pajamas (it was pretty late). So we figured we would do that this time too! It was a beautiful moment. To wrap our Chanukah weekend Dad made matzo brei and (my favorite) matzo meal pancakes! Thanks everyone for the great gifts and the good time! Happy Chanukah! ~sg
