Avenue of the Vines Half Marathon

On Sunday, May 18th, Rob, Malia, Jenny, and Jonathan participated in the Avenue of the Vines Half Marathon. Rob crossed the finish line at 2h 11m and Malia followed at 2h 20m! Great job guys! Rob decided that next time he will need to buy appropriate running gear, instead of the white cotton T-shirt, cotton khaki shorts, and regular (very old) tennis shoes that he wore this time. I think his feet STILL hurt. A valiant effort was put forth by Jonathan, who left in an ambulance because he passed out due to dehydration. Jenny came very close to the finish line, but decided that riding to the hospital with her son was more important (by the way, Jonathan is just fine). The wine tasting after the race was fun as well. They have a great Riesling! ~sg
