Lauren & Tony’s Wedding/Seattle Trip
My sister and her man Tony tied the knot on August 16, 2008. Rob, Carter and I spent the week in Seattle helping prepare for the big day (picking up flowers at Pike Place Market, making center pieces, etc.). The wedding was great. Jam packed with different traditions–there was a Catholic ceremony, the Jewish stomping of the wine glass and the chair dance, and a Korean bowing ceremony. Very cool : ) We were also fortunate enough to visit with a couple of my very good friends. I finally got to meet Nathan’s fiance, Jenna, and she is just wonderful–Naters you have my full approval and blessing ; ) I also got to meet Joanie’s son, Charlie, who is just a few months younger than Carter and adorable. It was a quick, busy, trip, but we had a great time and loved spending time with my family. ~sg
