Keepin’ up with the gaedtkes

Hailey had a productive day at the pool this past Thursday. She got dunked several times and learned to Humpty Dumpty Dive. I love how she braces her face as she leans toward the pool : )

Last weekend we spent Saturday in Santa Cruz, hung out at the beach and had a great time despite the overcast weather. Then Sunday, after one last trip to the beach, we headed over to Stockton for a few hours to celebrate Mary’s birthday and splash around in their pool. I think Carter may finally be warming up to the water again. Great Grandma and Grandpa Stirton must have a magic pool because that’s where he got comfortable with paddling around last year too.

We loved Santa Cruz, loved the beach, loved visiting family (though brief)… it was another lovely weekend : )

I think we found where Hailey got her fabulous cheeks from! This picture shown to the left is of Rob’s Grandma Mary as a baby. She looked like a little doll too : )
